HG+ Mercury Capsule Electrode
The Eurocom HG+ Philips Capsule Neon Electrode is a revolution in Neon Electrode Technology:
The HG+ Neon Electrode is the product of a joint development between NP-Lighting and Philips Lighting of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Applying decades of research in the lamp industry, these groundbreaking neon electrodes come equipped with one or two mercury capsules each containing 22Mg of liquid mercury per capsule or up to 88mg/tube.
Processing a tube with the HG+ Philips Glass Capsule Electrode is as easy as pumping a red (Neon) unit: The liquid mercury is sealed within the capsule and will not leak or break during the pumping process following the Eurocom Pumping Recommendations. Only after the tube is completely finished and ready for burn-in will the RF generator open the capsule. Once both electrodes are opened, the tube can be burned in just like any other tube and will come up to full brightness in no more than 25 minutes.
